Spinal Screenings
This is the time where we figure out if you can be helped by a chiropractor. You’re on the chiropractic exam table and we’re looking and palpating for subluxations that could be contributing or causing your symptoms. We gather important information at our expense that will help detemine if you need the complete chiropractic exam or a referral to another health care provider. We get our first impressions from your body without any outside influence. This is one of the most valuable tests we do at the office.
Chiropractic examinations
Once the spinal screening has confirmed that you can be helped with chiropractic care, we then proceed with a complete chiropractic examination. We gather more detailed information through case history, orthopedic testing, manual muscle testing, posture analysis, weight distribution, and ranges of motion. If necessary, xrays can be ordered to assist with further diagnosis and prognosis. From the gathered information, we make a detailed plan and have a report findings in order to move forward with your individiaul chiropractic care plan.
Chiropractic adjustments
Once the examination is complete and we go over the report of findings, chiropractic adjusting can begin. A chiropractic adjustment is a safe, gentle and effective way to correct the subluxations(misalignments). Subluxations are not limited to the spine and can occur wherever two bones meet and form a joint. Once the correction has taken place, proper mechinal function, range of motion, and neurological flow can improve. Patients typically report immediate relief or decrease in pain and an increase ins range of motion. Your body holds an incredible innate healing power and when the spinal or joint subluxations are corrected, your body can start healing from the inside out.
